wheel spacer (Ichiba or H&R)
Hi! I have NAD 8 black 20x8.5 (35 offset) and 20X9.5 (40 offset) wheels on my sc430 and I have just dropped the car with Tanabe springs only (1inch drop) pictures are coming soon.
Now I want to put some spacers for more aggrasive look. The front wheel looks o.k. but the rear wheel is to much in. I am thinking of putting an 15mm spacer for the rear for more aggressive look. Which one you will recommend for better quality and ride comfort Ichiba, H&R or Kicks. (and if I put a spacer in the front too (5mm or 10mm), you think I will get any vibration from the stearing wheel or the ride quality will not change?)
Thanks

any vibration if you put them on front
I had a Audi before and put a 10mm H&R hub centric spacer in the front and the wheel became more shaky and vibrating then I had to remove them. Will I have the same problem if I put them in front of the sc430?

I didn't have that problem when I used H&R.
You need to replace stock studs with the longer ones that come with H&R spacers.
Also, the hub centric rings for your aftermarket rims are still needed.
You need 15mm/front and 20mm/rear for your setup.
To be honest, I would rather get another set of rims with proper offsets if I were you.

5x114.3 is just bolt pattern.
You need to do your homework well before you try to order some rims on line by yourself.

For your setup you'll need these if you plan to go with H&R/Ichiba.

You'll need these if you plan to go with Kics
+ +
Be careful when you use spacers of adaptor type such as Kics.
For 25mm and above, you are safe since 25mm will cover stock stubs completely.
For 20mm and below, there are some other extra measurements you need to do before you can use them safely.

Thanks for the info. Actually I bought my wheels through a shop and they told me that I don't need any hub rings. I guess they did not know what they where doing.
So I have to call a tire discount store and get the hub ring and then get the H&R spacers. Is there any spesific kind of hub rings I should ask for or the store will tell me which one I will need?
Thanks again.

I don't know why they tell you that you don't need hub rings. They are probably just too cheap to stock some hubcentric rings.
The Lexus hub face features a raised male lip surrounding its center that should clearly tell them it is NOT lugcentric.
I believe the people at Discount Tire store can find you a correct set of hubcentric rings via their computer.
If you want to order those hub rings on line, you probably need to measure your wheel bore size.
For example, the wheel bore size of my JDM SSR is 73 mm.
Lexus hub size is 60.06 mm.
So these below are the correct rings I should get.
