Exclamation LF: R154 Transmission

Found out my car is running a w58 other than a R154 that the last owner stated it had. Looking for every part needed to replace the W58 into a R154.

Thanks

Wish I still had my W58. I liked it better over the R154. And held power of the 1jz with no problems. Good luck on your search. It's easy but I would keep the W58 and have a R154 for when you increase the horsepower.

While my car (1.5JZ-GTE) has the 154.....I too like the way the W58 feels. My 154 has less than 5000 miles on it isn't nearly as smooth as the W58 cars I've driven. Obviously with my 76mm turbo the 154 is a requirement.

You might be local so if you need to take a look at one just let me know.

Nevermind....found out you're in middle GA. I'll be down May 1-2 for the Import Showdown at Reynolds so if you still need anything let me know.

I pretty much need a R154, the shop that my car is currently at told me that a W58 is not going to last long with my setup. W58 would be fine if i was running a stock 1jz but with my current setup i would like to actually want to enjoy what is under the hood.

Also, bought a twin plate clutch for the R154.... and recently just finding out i have a w58 is straight out a slap in the face....
