New Exhausts Tips
When I purchased my SC 430 last September the factory exhaust tips were missing. After checking with the local Lexus dealer and finding out what they wanted for a new set I decided to put on after market tips. Today I had installed Hi Polished Stainless Steel Tips from Different Trends part # DT013B. Total cost $80.00 for the pair installed. plus local sales tax.

Looks good. Two questions: 1. Did you have to cut off the "flange" at the end of the OEM exhaust pipe? I was in the market for tips a while ago and found that none of the aftermarket ones would fit over the OEM flange and thus exhaust shops wanted to trim down the exhaust pipe. 2. Did it change your exhaust sound as it looks like these might have an inner baffle (hopefully not to a weedeater sound)?

Yes I had to cut off the flange, like you I could not find any after market tips that would fit over the flange. The sound did not change there is no baffle, it is straight through from where they attach to the tail pipe.
