New pioneer AVH-X5700bhs radio
I've just purchased a Pioneer AVH-X5700bhs for my 03 SC430. Also ordered the Beatsonic unit and a pioneer ND-BC6 rear camera.
While waiting for it to arrive I've reviewed most of the threads posted on the Pioneer AVH and can't seem to find how anyone connected the front windshield antenna to the new unit. Is there a place on the rear of the new radio (can't see one) or does it plug into the Beatsonic somehow.
Also looks like I have to take half of the car apart to install the rear camera since it plugs into the back of the new radio.
Can anyone help

I would recommend that you purchase some plastic interior tools before you begin.
If you have them already disregard, but if you do not and have this store near you, spend about $20 on different sets, you will be happy you did!
They even have a tool that will pull the rear interior plugs or clips.

The factory Levinson system uses two antennae to resolve signal path issues. There's only a single antenna input on most head units. I just connected the rear, and the front goes unused.

Some audio shops (and Fry's Electronics) carry an adapter that will allow you to change the end of the Lexus proprietary windshield antenna to the universal Motorola end, and then you can combine both antenna feeds using a Y Splitter to allow use of both antenna signals combined. I personally used the adapter to allow my windshield antenna to act as my primary since I ditched the rear telescoping antenna for a modern stubby antenna in the rear. I saw the Y spittler on the shelf but didn't need it. Should be easy enough to find though.
