Thanks Texlex, I was trying to avoid stretch tires but perhaps that might be my best option. I have the same setup now as you, and it looks like we have the same plan to go to 20"s, right down to the offset. I'm thinking +30 front, and +34 back.
Those offsets have no meaning without width. How wide of wheel were you thinking?
The tires I will probably go with 275/30 or 35. As far as the wheels go, there's a small company in Atlanta that makes custom wheels called Brada. The seemed a little more affordable than most, think I'm going to use them.

...depending on how much you lower the car, the 30 series tire might be your safest bet from rubbing. Not trying to steer you one way or the other, but the 35's will be a little bit taller & with a wide tire/wheel combination more chances that it might rub.
I'm running 19x9 and 19x10 with spacers equal to ET33 front and ET38 rear. Tires are 255 35 19 snd 295 30 19, stock height and no rub. I choose these sizes so my front and rear tires are almost identical on heights.
