They are not tuning the OEM ecu, they are tuning the piggyback ecu that does the air fuel mix

when you add headers the engine become leaner more at the top end. the only way to add fuel you must increase injector size. its like jet in a carb you must add fuel by upping the carb jets there is no other way.and with injector you must upgrade the injector size.
when you lean a engine you must add fuel. that's why they have people that do injector work.

there are shops you can send the stock injectors to be reworked if doing any kind of racing or street performance cars and still be stock. I see a lot of guys want more performance but it must be done right. if you add more air and exhaust system, headers ect. reworked injectors is a very safe bet for performance. reworking injectors mean its on the money. then you need to know if the fuel pump will work properly pumping.. now you have a nice setup air, fuel, and exhaust. now gears the Supra rear is the best setup so far. the 4.10. gears are to much. 3.90 maybe.
