Upgrading the Mark Levinson sound system
I had read in the forum that there is an aftermarket upgrade available that modifies the older ML system for bluetooth, MP3, etc. Can anyone point me in the right direction or give me some feed back as the best way to modify or upgrade the ML system. Thank you..

Check out my thread on my media install. I did change from the iSimple to Vaistech in the end as my Aux Input. Along with upgrading to Rockford Fosgates in the doors and rear. I'm very happy with my upgrade and even kept the OEM head unit since i liked the clean look of the center stack and the closing door. Some people have upgraded to Beatsonic with a Panasonic head unit and other have even changed the DVD player to a 2006+ model which offers better navigation maps and Bluetooth and phone integration in 2002-2005 models (retrofit). https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sc-...on-naviks.html.
PS. there are a about three PROVEN options on the market to add an AUX input to the OEM radio. These include Vaistech, (apparently) Grom (if anyone can vouch, please?), and Blitzsafe (I personally know the techs are working on the SC430 unit).

I haven't had any problems with my Grom unit for Bluetooth, iPods/iPads, Android, Aux, USB audio, hardrives and USB flash drives.. The Grom units seem to be a popular option in CA.
Installation shouldn't take you more than 1 hour for the GROM - It's just R/R a few parts of the console then plug and play.
You can't go wrong with any of the options out there.

Thanks! I feel that if I could do this upgrade that anyone truly can. I know that any professional shop would be able to do it also. I just took it on myself as I like to do hands on projects and it was more of a sentiment to save some money. If you have questions, don't hesitate to PM me or post them on a/this thread.
