Smile Where is the subwoofer?

I have a 2005 SC430. I have had it less than a year and cannot find the subwoofer. Most all of the info on the car says there are nine speakers. I have found 8. So, I assume the ninth one is the subwoofer. Where is it?

The sub is behind the back seat in the middle.

If it is behind the back seat in the middle then is it accessed from the trunk and is it obvious? I swear that I have looked there before to no avail. The car is in winter storage right now but I can't wait to look again.

Pull up on the rear seat cushion. The two clips are located in the lower front of the seat. Then loosen the two bolts securing the back-rest. The bolts are located at opposite ends at the very bottom. This will allow you access to the subwoofer.

Took me about a half hour to get mine removed (and another 1/2 hour to replace, except for retrieving the dropped bolt). Not hard at all! By the way, the rear panel in the trunk give you the quickest visual of the sub, but removal requires taking out the back seat.

Thanks for the help. I hope I don't have to actually get to the sub for a while. I just wondered where in the heck it was after looking all over for it. The pics really helped and the thread will be helpful too.
