Need help with speedometer
Hey the guys
In my current speedometer the speed needle doesn't work i did everything and changed all sensors and checked all related issues and all is fine turned out the issue was with the speed gauge it self
So i bought my self a used speedometer.
Now my question is dose anybody know how to dismantle the speedometer cause i want to take out the speed gauge from my old one a replace it with the new one i know its much easy to change the whole thing but i dont wana play with the milage i have on my car

When I had the instrument cluster changed on my SC430, they programmed the correct mileage into the new unit. That may be your safest and easiest option rather than taking apart the speedometers. I can't imagine that it would be that expensive.

When you remove the instrument cluster it is flipped over and taken apart from the backside. there are many phillips screws. Layers will come off untill you finally get to the speedo board.

Yes, be sure to have the proper mileage transferred over or else when you go to sell it, you could be accused of fraud.
