Default 2005 SC 430 65K for 22K ?

Hi gang

So I found a 1 owner ,no accident silver black interior SC for 22K with TRD rims and newer tires (5K)

The car all checked out by Lexus with clean interior .

Here is the Q:

It has some rock chips on hood , some bumper scratchers which kind of bother me .
Other than the imperfection, car looks clean

Do you guys think $22K is a good deal . It looks like this is Kelly BB price . I hate to repaint the hood and bumpers .

What do you guys think ?

concentrate on the service and mechanicals on the vehicle by having it inspected at lexus like you said
buy the car for 22 or 23 or 24 and enjoy the great vehicle the chips and exterior dont mean anything long term,
just enjoy the car if your looking for perfection buy a new vehicle comparable for 50 k

If it checks out mechanically, it sounds like a fair deal.

A decent bodyshop can blend in the chipped/scratched sections for you - no need to repaint the whole panel.

I would look for the 2006+ to get all the extra updates for around the same price range.

Jona, seems like a decent deal. An 06 for 23K is about the best you're going to do when you get one that's clean. The 75K doesn't bother me as much as other vehicles because it has many, many miles left.

Congrats on the find and have fun with it. It's the prime time of the year for SC's.

my search might be over. The 06 with 75K checked out via CARFAX and inspection so I might pulled the trigger on this one . . But it also had the bumper and front hood repainted. I imagined the guy who bought it from the dealer had the hood and bumper repainted. Why does the dealers do this ?

Cheers
