Default Headlights sanded and buffed - Looking like new!

All,

My headlights started looking realty dull, making the car look old. So I decided to have them sanded and buffed. And, wow, they're now looking like new. I love my sc430 all over again.

It all depends on how much sun (UV) exposure the headlights got. If the car is a garage queen, the headlights should be good even after 10+ years.

OP needs to apply a coat of UV protectant to prevent the headlights from becoming yellow again. Sanding gets rid of the original factory UV protection. Otherwise, the new headlights will turn yellow pretty quickly.

Thanks for the advice. I need to order the UV protectant. I wonder if Autozone or Advance Autoparts have it in store...

Yes!

I also noticed the BM Auto stores started selling them recently.

Another product they discovered to make money from...LOL.
