Default Great CL Member-Super Helpful

One of the great things about this forum is how CL members help each other. Just benefited from the help of a great CL member yesterday.

I drove over to Mandyfig's garage and he helped me on a cold rainy Sat morning to open up my fender liner with his specialized tools. Managed to change out my faulty parking light bulb which has solved my bulb flickering problem which was driving me crazy. Just wanted to say a big thank you to a real stand-up guy who sets a solid example of what is great about CL. Thanks Mandyfig !

BTW, back on OEM 18' twisties/DWS as of this morning !

Mandyfig has been great with responses to my newbie questions too! Thanks.

However, one question...... did you drive from NJ to GA to change a lightbulb???????

I like it too! Atlanta is a big area, but great to know there are people close by!

Long story on that one. My TAP/Ecru SC430 was originally from Long Island NY, then West Orange NJ and has been in the greater Atlanta area often in the last few years. It likes the weather and warmth a little better in the southeast.

My other two vehicles (both AWD Acuras) stay in northeast where they belong, toughing it out in the snow.

I understand, but had to scratch my head at that.I do wish there were more nice days to drive mine. We got 6" of snow on the ground last night here, so the sc430 stays in the garage..... also the timing belt is off, so it is not going anywhere fast.

You guys are kind, thank you. I am actually just paying froward.

People like talwang, vipniss, scdrotop and VVtiBob (I miss both of them), etc., etc. have all been there able and willing to hand down tips and tricks. All for the assurance that we will enjoy our rides.

At the end of the day when you learn something, it is in the sharing of the knowledge that makes it worthwhile.

Mandy, I recently learnt that scdroptop had sold his SC, but had VVtiBob left the Forum too?

Cheers
Steve
