Seatbelt / door chimes always on
Happy New Year, all...
was away for a week, came back to find my 2007 SC wouldn't start due to an apparently dead battery. Got it jump started but when I began to drive it I found that the seatbelt chimes came on after anound 10 MPH. When stopped, silent. Checked all the seatbelts, door closures, every thing I could think of but no dice. Still rings. I saw a procedure online that lays out how to try and reset the On/Off position of the chimes but after three attempts still ringing. Stopped by a repair shop whose owner owns an SC but given he's getting ready to shut down for the holiday weekend couldn't help me today. He said there's a "seat belt computer" that might have been blown out somehow. Anyone know something about this? Is there a fuse associated with the seatbelt warning system that I could pop out temporarily?
Weather here in Florida is too good not to be able to drive over the long weekend.
Thanks, all - Stay safe

Was the seatbelt light blinking? If not, it may the top is not fully set one way or the other.

I agree with Harold, check the roof, doors, and trunk. Something is open.
I just went out and checked…here are my results.
if a door or trunk lid is open, the door symbol on the dash is lit and a single chime or ding is heard when you begin to move.
when the roof is unlocked you will see a solid red light on the open close switch and when you begin to drive the car, the chime or ding will sound continuously.

Thanks, all
Bgw70 was correct.
Once I got the car jump started the red light on the Open/Close switch was indeed lit. I cycled through putting the top up and down a few times until the light was off. When I drove it the chimes were no longer going off.
Much appreciated.
