Summer is almost over and I would like to see if anyone is interested
in meeting up in Monterey, CA. for a lunch and doing the 17-mile drive.

I know some of you would like to take advantage of the nice sunny weather here is NorCal and enojy your droptops as much as you can before the rainy season is upon us.

Stock or modded is welcome and this meet is for your enjoyment
to get to hang out w/ your felllow compadres.

WHAT: NorCal SC430 Meet (10am-6pm)
WHEN: TBD (1st half of Sept 2011 either on a Sat. or Sun.)
WHERE: Monterey, CA (Spanish Bay)
LUNCH: Roy's Restaurant
SCENIC DIVE: 17-mile Drive ending in Carmel, CA.

Let me know if anyone is interested and if there's enough
participants, I can arrange all the logistics.

Sounds great Sam, however, my September is all booked up. I'm up in Humboldt County and would some day like to sponsor a meet in the redwoods along Avenue of the Giants. Is there any interest out there in setting up a meet in extreme Northern California?

Hi Gutz,

Back in '02 or '03 I attended a meeting/get together of 8-series BMW owners at the Benbow Inn. It is a great facility and they treated us very well.

And they allowed us to use their facilities to wash our cars; I think I helped wash ~30+ cars.

We had 76 or 77 8-series cars there, it still is the largest gathering of 8's anywhere in the world.

My girlfriend has been visiting southern Cal for a while and she says the highs have been in the mid 80s... Hate you all since our highs have been around 108 the past few days here in Dallas.

I am planning on driving big sur and monterey next week. No hotel reservations. Just winging it. Probably stay in cambria and carmel. Bringing lots of sunscreen as i hope to go top down 80% of trip

I love this part of the world I drove down the Great SUR and have to say you guys have a great back garden, I love to go back soon.
I liked Monteray as it was very relaxed town

Thanks Jerry, I've been on vacation and just saw your message. I'm not sure how much interest there would be and I've never done anything like this. You're the only one to reply. I'll keep tract and if I get more responses, I'll give it a serious look!
