hey everyone,
i finally bought a navtool and back up camera, hooked everything up (according to all the DIYs, theyre great!) But there is one problem, when i put the car into reverse, there is a 1 or 2 second lag with a black screen and some static/fuzz before the back up camera comes up on the screen.

i have posted up a video.... any ideas what can be wrong?

I dont think its really a problem. I have the same lag in mine. The system is set up so that the camera is off and only comes in [ gets a 12 volt power ] when car is placed in reverse. I think its normal

Agree with mrblister. Mine has about the same lag. I attributed it to warm up time for the camera from the time it get's the 12v power.
