Sorry in advance, it's alittle long.

So tonight, I'm driving my 02, and my check engine light start flashing. I'm only a couple miles from the house so I just continue home. I don't notice anything else yet. As I'm turning into my neighborhood, I notice the engine is running rough, kinda like it's not running on all 8. It's not back firing, nothing else. So I park the car and shut it off. I check the all fluids just to make sure the engine wasn't low.
I go in the house, take a deep breath and look up in the manual for a possible cause. It says the electronic throttle control. Ok, so that's a possibility. And in the manual, it says that it COULD fix itself once the car is restarted. So I looked up in the forum here and a couple people said to disconnect the battery for 30 sec or more to reset the system and that might fix it. So I give it and shot and go out, do the battery thing and then start it and the check engine light IS NOT on, but it is still running rough. So I take it around the block, ya never know right? But nothing changes, so I go back to the house, cut it off. I click over the ignition again, start it again and the check engine light is off again.
Any thoughts, maf dirty, throttle control,,,,anything???

it sounds like missfiring?

could be coilpack or plug, you need to get the trouble code to determin which one goes bad.
