I also have Black/Ecru and while Zaino does a great job, the water spots I have after a minor rain are unbelievable. Has anyone else experienced water spotting with Zaino and have any suggestions of an alternative that does not exhibit this problem.

Now can anyone really see a difference between my car with blitz and Fischer's car with Zaino? I have zaino and use it on my 2002 Nighthawk Black Pearl Accord which sits outside all day and my wife parks it under trees at times (sappy mess!) Tried blitz and it goes on and comes off pretty good. Then I heard of S100 which I can get locally at motorcycle shops and apparently is the same as P21S which is really expensive $25 (S100 is around $15) but very easy to put on. I might get some and try soon.
This is my second glaze/wax in past 2 weeks. I never removed the first coat and don't know if you can glaze on top of the wax but I did it anyway. Looked good to me. Anyway, this car sits in the garage now so hopefully it will last a while. I'll keep you guys updated.
Has anyone tried topping Zaino with Blitz/S100/ or some other carnuba wax? Heard some guys over at autopia.com doing it but I'm not sure if it's worth it. FWIW, I've hears S100 is easier to put on than blitz wax but blitz is supposed to last longer. Anyway I'll probably get some S100 and give it a go just to see. I got my Blitz wax pretty cheap. www.motorhead.net went out of business and they are selling everything really cheap. 15oz blitz wax for $17.99 and shipping UPS for $3

p.s. I just got a california duster to try and keep it clean from dust, Seems it is a dust magnet! One thing I like about Zaino, it seemed to repel the dust.

I've noticed water spotting on my zainoed 2002 Accord and was told by Sal Zaino via e-mail to try and use pure white vinegar from your kitchen, undiluted to get rid of the mineral deposits before they etch into the paint.

p.s. I never got around to trying it. Let me know if it works!

Makes no sense
If there is a difference between the wax shine and the zaino shine on new, clean, black cars, it probably cannot be easily shown in photographs, and even less so for digital photos.
Anyway, it makes no sense to put wax over a polymer finish such as Zaino (or vice versa). The wax is shorter-lived, and will yellow as it ages, which the polymer will not.
The reason I use the Zaino instead of wax is not so much for the shine, but rather because Zaino is much easier and quicker to apply than wax and I have to do it much less often.
I'm lazy, I guess. Does someone know some medical terminology for that so I can explain it to my wife?

Being that I'm a doctor (for real), I know medical terminology and I believe what you are refering to would be Lazyitis. Hey, I'm a podiatrist not a brain surgeon, what do you expect?

The doctor is in
Guys, if you have to ask, you probably don't need one.
I will see the guy with the bi-cuspid, however.
That was really good.

Just in case anyone couldn't see them, I put the pictures in the picture gallery here. They are listed under Fulmitz. I'll try to post them here as well.
Here goes....
The rest you can find yourself!
