safe jack points
AS I only has the SC430 for about 5 weeks, just wondering where the safest place to jack up the SC430 so I can do an old change?
As I don't have a service manual, I just want to know where most guys place the jacks to lift the car.
Yes I do use the safety stands so the car will not fall on me if anything happens.

If you go to the My Lexus site you can register you car by VIN and see its history. Additionally, you can view and download your owner's manuals. Here's the site: https://secure.drivers.lexus.com/lex...-lexus/home.do
Here are lift and support instructions from the service manual

If you mean oil change then I'd recommend some lightweight low-profile plastic ramps. Just drive it up and you'll have plenty of clearance to change your oil. Much easier than jack stands.

Yes oil change!!! I'm all thumbs. These netbook PC keyboards are too small.
Thanks again for the info.
PS:the my lexus website must only work for North American VIN numbers. It didn't register the Aussie VIN number that I punched in.

But you should still have access to the link for Owner's Manuals, Maintenance Schedules and NAV.... I'd suggest contacting the Dealer you work with Down Under and see if they have a similar site in your region of the world.

Just bought the car ramps and wheel chocks a few days ago for around $50 from wally world - tired of messing around with the scissor jack and jack stands for the simple oil change. Still, very good info pdf on the jack points as usual.
