Default Out of the SC, into the IS-C

Hey folks,
It's been a while. I didn't realize how long it has been since I did any posting here. Looks like it has been well over a year. A few changes vehicle wise since then. I traded my M35 Sport for a Genesis 4.6 Sedan n Dec '08. Love it. Hadn't done anything with the SC until recently. The Mrs. had been itching to test drive the IS-C. So I took her out a couple of weeks ago to drive both the 250 and the 350. I think it was love at first sight with the 350! She talked about that car every day after the test drive. I even caught her looking at specs online! I suggested she drive the Infiniti G37 convertible to get a comparison. She did. The Lexus won and the SC was sold to the quickest, highest (if you want to call it high) offer. We picked up a sweet pre-owned 350C on Saturday. Big difference in pickup and ride amoung other things (push button start, better ride on the non-run flats, better nav, etc.). She's happy and someone will be happy to get the SC! I'll keep running the VIN in Autocheck and CarFax until I see where it ends up!

So off I go to the IS section of the forums. It's been fun reading the threads from everyone here. Lots of good members and good stuff except for the one bone-head I dealt with a couple of years ago. Tried to sell me some shady tires! But anyway, one bad apple didn't spoil the entire bunch. Off to the other side!

Blasphemy!

Honestly, there are many benefits to the IS-C. And as much as I love the SC, the IS-C does have its advantages. Enjoy it! I'm pretty sure you'll love it as much as the SC.

I think you made a great decision...

The Genesis I mean...

As for your other choice...

Well the Genesis is a very handsome ride. Just make sure you don't mistake drive for reverse, some people listen to the wife and wind up going the wrong way.

KaiserSea1,
LOL! Initially I was against getting rid of the SC. But I couldn't talk her out of it. The Mrs. drives the Lexus 95% of the time. So she had all of the stories and experience with the harshness of the SC's ride, etc. I only drive it when we are out together and of course when it is time for gas and a wash.

The Genesis on the other hand is driven by me 95% of the time. I was looking at an Lexus LS when this car came along. True it isn't an LS, but for the price, I can't complain one bit. It's a hell of a value. I believe the 15K (was looking at CPO'ed LS's around 55K) I saved on that Genesis purchase has been a good decision. No major issues thus far and it drives and rides like the wind!

Man, kicking me to the curb. . . . . . . . . . . I'll be sure and post some pictures as soon as I can get it cleaned up, which may not be anytime soon. The weather doesn't look like it will cooperate in NC this weekend.
