Run Flat Sensors....
For the 2nd time in 6 months my tire pressure warning light has come on. Both times the pressure in all 4 tires has been fine.
The first time 6 months ago I took it in to have it checked for the pressure light as well as increased road noise from the tires. The looked at it and concluded that the car was quite severely out of alignment and this has caused some very noticeable wear on the outside of the left front tire. I believe they called it "feathering"
This was causing the noise, the fix was to put it back into alignment and put on two new tires. I have never hit anything other than should/would cause it to be so far out of wack. So I just accepted it and carried on.
Today I notice the same noise and the light comes on again. Very strange coincidence. Seeing as how the sensors only monitor pressure I find it strange that it would come on for another reason on than a low pressure situation.
It is at the dealer tomorrow to get a few new wood pieces replaced that scratched on the stereo and nav panels when they opened and shut.
Thought I would post to see if anyone else has had this issue come up....
