License Plate Bracket...got ticket
Yo, just got a ticket for no front licenses plate.
Does anyone know where i can get a license plate bracket? Is there a bracket that doesn't require me to drill holes in my bumper? If so i prefer that one. Thanks!

Here are some 3" brackets to give you an idea but I ended up using the 4" ones for my wife's car. I drilled on the top part of the bottom opening of the bumper which is not noticeable when the plate comes off.
I also cleared a ticket with this.........

Look in the trunk with the spare
The bracket ships from the factory in the trunk under the mat, next to the spare. See if it's still there... but yes, you'd have to drill. How expensive is the ticket, and were you pulled over for something else or ticketed at a meter (curious, as I'm in CA too, and driving without a front plate).

cops sometimes come out from their cubbie hole to the car and see if the plate is on firmly. They will actully grip it and pull on it in my experience. If i use double tape, i could imagine it just riping right off and pissing the officer off big time! May get a laugh but i doubt it. i may try the bracket idea. I'll go to home depot tomorrow.

I went to the salvage yard and pulled a plate holder off of a Ford tempo that had the bracket molded into the top of the plate holder. I flipped it upsidedown and mounted it to the underside of my bumper above the Drivers turn lamp. I did this to my SC430 and my Son's SC300 It worked out great and I did not have to make any noticable holes in the car! Below is a picture of the SC430.
