Need help plz! Decisions! Na-t q
I am about to purchase my second sc300. as far as cosmetics and upgrades it is perfect for what im looking for. my first sc300 was turbo charged a few years ago with a pretty solid kit from Extreme Turbo Systems and i am contemplating dropping the motor from my first sc300 which has 160k with the turbo kit into the sc im about to purchase.
my questions are,
1. how difficult would it be to drop the na-t motor into the sc im about to purchase?
2. would i b better off doing the modifications to install the turbo kit from my first sc300 into the new sc?
Thank you for your time!
All help is GREATLY appreciated!

Well I'm not the most skilled mechanic for starters. Lol . I have a mechanic I lined up to do the work and he is comfortable working with turbos and swapping engines. The lower mileage is the one with the turbo kit but I've had it since I was sixteen and drove it like a jackass . Both cars are automatic. The sc I'm about to purcHase (92 sc300) has "240k" but the engine and transmission have been replaced and some point in time. Specifics I do not know as far as when . So I guess health of the engines could go either way. The reason I want to move the na-t setup into the other sc is because the body has the 97+ oem body , new pearl painjob, supra brake setup , mint interior and lots of small mods here and there.
Both are obd1 too!

I'd probably run a compression test on the "new" SC and see what the results are. Assuming it looks OK, I think it would be easier and cheaper just to swap the NA-T setup onto the new car if the engine and transmission are in good shape, versus doing a couple of motor swaps and still having to tweak some wiring/plumbing.
