Default Safety hazard?? Advice needed

About a month ago my car was totalled when it got sideswiped by a big rig

(thread and pics of damage here https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sc-...ideswiped.html)

The semi truck pulled one wheel while the other wheel was jammed up against the curb and my steering rack ended up being bent while the drivers side wheel pointed to the right and the passenger side wheel pointed to the left resulting in a pigeon toed sc.

My concern is that the steering knuckle was pretty bent up which means a lot of force was placed on the ball joint in my control arm, since then all bent/broken parts have been replaced. The car is aligned and drives smooth and well without any disconcerting behavior.

My question is, with all that force, how would I know if my balljoint has been compromised? It drives solid and great and I don't want to buy parts I don't need but I also don't want my balljoint to catastrophically fail while I'm on the highway...

What do you guys think any input?
Is this a realistic concern or
Am I just tripping myself out?

I would swap everything just to be safe. It may seem like unnecessary spending, but as you stated you dont want any failure while driving. Better safe than sorry.
