I'm going to replace my power steering pressure line next week, and was wondering if the driftmotion braided steel line is a direct replacement. I emailed them asking, but I wanted to know if anybody had used this part before and had any problems with it.

I'm not sure if Im allowed to post the link but the part no on driftmotion is DMA980.

I have installed a few of the DM PS lines, and they all fit pretty nicely, and yes they are a direct replacement. However, the crush washers that are included are the incorrect size and always have been. So when you get it in, take it to a local auto parts store and get the correct crush washers.

Thanks man. I work in a shop and we got all kinds of crush washers, I'm sure I'll be able to find something.

Yeah it is and seems as if it will never be fixed. I have contacted Aaron @ DM a few times about it, and it goes unnoticed.

The PHR power steering line doesnt even come with the crush washers......What i ended up doing was using 2 of the OEM ones from the banjo bolt and stacking them.....Havent had a problem since

FYI....you can get the PHR one for 65-70 is you bid for it on ebay

It would be nice to know the size of the crush washers. I'm going to be replacing my power steering line soon.

I washer is "correct size" but it has to be perfectly centered or else it will leak. which was a pain in the ***. it leaked on me twice before I centered the washer perfect.

Im digging through my swap notes to see if I had the proper size written down any where. If I find it, Ill post it up. The first one I installed, I took the line with me to Autozone and they happened to have the perfect size.

Thats the problem, it shouldnt have to be perfectly centered. The washer is too big and this is what sent me looking for the correct one.

In my opinion its way too long. I made my own, 12" braided p/s hose, 45 degree -an fitting on the reservoir, straight -an to the rack, 2x -an to thread adapters. Perfect fit, no extra hose snaking around. You can make the hose what ever length works, mine was for my 1J swap.
