Yeah for sure. I have another key but I have no idea where it is now SMH I will have to get another one asap. Yeah my car is at my house but I'm at work right now I will try those both after I get off in 3 hrs. I hope one of them will work. This has been going on for 2 days now
Happened to me too with no spare key...If the car is locked get the door opened, if alaram goes off pop hood and disconnect the battery. Remove back seats, then remove the rear speaker cover. With a 10mm (i think) unscrew the bolts holding the stock Amp in the middle which will expose a big hole into your trunk, you should then be able to stick your arm through or use something to pull your keys out.
How do you take the panel off? I have been trying and it's not coming off even now broke a little off. All my tools are in the trunk smh
It takes a few steps. The panel facing the floor comes off first, I believe with a few screws and clips, and then reveals some of the screws holding the panel on surrounding the trunk/fuel release unit. If I remember right, you also need to pull some of the dash center trim out to release more fasterns up higher on that panel. It's a PITA, but as you take each section apart, you'll see how to get at the next section.

If you're going that far with it, you might as well just reach around on that side of the trunk for the emergency release cable that is velcro'd to the carpet over there. That has to be easier from the amp hole than fishing around the trunk for something as small as keys.
Another thing for those that have a valet only key, the plug on the back of the valet trunk lock can be soldered together so the lock is permanently bypassed allowing the button to work
Man this sucked, I had the same issue on my 92 a few months back. I was getting in my trunk for my gym back and then ended up closing it without grabbing them. Needless to say, I was at the gym for quite awhile....
You have to take surrounding trim pieces off to access the part you're trying to get to in almost all cases... I've never tried removing that particular piece, but I imagine it's held in by screws and/or clips behind the surrounding panel.

Yeah I found that out lol I was just upset and started at it But Lexus so a little bit a way from me so I called a friend and we or going to try 2 ways of getting in. Ether from taking the seats out and fishing from the speaker or taking apart that plastic and pushing that button today
