Post sc400 parking light cover/tube?

Not sure if this should be in the lighting section or here since it's about the cover, but has anyone replaced their parking light cover/ tube thing? Mine is burned or something and can not be cleaned. The assembly was apart but I couldn't get the tube to clear up. You can tell that it's cloudy just looking at the light brightness compared to the passenger headlight. I tried doing a search for something like this but I found were threads about replacing the bulbs. Anything may help, thanks.

Are you talking about the grey part/piece that holds the bulb in the headlight? If yes that part can be replaced. Go to sc classifies and ask one of the long time vendors for the part.
Just recalled the tube piece you are talking about, what have u used to clean the plastic with?

I'm not sure about the grey part you mentioned, may be it, I didn't notice it though. It's the tube that the light sits inside of. I wiped it down a few times inside and out but when nothing changed I stopped. It kind of looks burned. But the headlight is still condensating so I'm not sure if I'm just going to replace it or not. I just tried to reseal it again but it didn't fix the problem. Might try to drill some holes in the bottom next. It's kind of upsetting because the lens looks pretty great right new after wetsanding and polishing it.

I would use a Q-tip or hand drill, with rubbing compound/alcohol, if that doesn't work? It's probably damaged from the previous owner, who may have used a larger bulb that was making contact with the plastic tube and burned the plastic.

You dont have to have that in for the light to work, or be sealed. If the inside of the plastic is burnt, its more than likely not repairable.

I tossed mine a few years ago, and just threw in a standard t10 multi led bulb and havent looked back since then.

If its a must have, I would contact Aliga to see if he has any laying around that are in good condition, or take it to a dealership and see if by chance they have any.

Hey thanks for the responses guys, I just messaged him so we'll see if he can help. I replaced the parking light bulbs with amber ones today and the connector where the bulb goes in appeared to be burned a little so I'm sure that's what happened to the tube. The lights only took me about a minute, small hands haha.
