Default black intercoolers are better than other ICs

yep, it's a fact, mighty car mods never lies. the emissive qualities of the color black, make black intercoolers run cooler at idle when airflow is not rushing through them

It should also be stated that when airflow IS rushing through them they are not better NOR worse than a shiny one. Pretty cool to see...maybe I have my next project.

same goes for intercooler piping and air intakes. they would probably benefit even more since there is minimal airflow on those other parts

Pink will not have the same emissive properties as black sadly. Otherwise I'd do it too but with sparkles

Interesting.. I assume you want to add the least amount of paint possible?

Is it the paint COLOUR or the Acrylic Paint itself that has the properties of absorbing heat from the metal?
I'd like to think its more to do with the Paint, than the colour of it.
Yes it's spelt "colour" where I live.

its the color, not the type of paint.

I'm not worried about that.

I just really like pink stuff on my car.

yea it's all because of the color. it's physics at play here. just how a black t shirt gets much hotter in the sun than say a white t shirt, a black hoody will make you colder in the winter at night than a white hoody. it's the emissive and absorbing temperatures properties of the color. colors aren't just things we see, they're part of a physical light spectrum of different wavelengths and each of them have different properties. i went too far i'm sorry, and i might be a little wrong. it's 1:30 am and i'm tired lol
