hey guys, i have some supra wheels and want them to fit more flush to the fender so i'm gonna get some spacers. is there anything i should look for in particular? brands? types? i'm not too sure about them. just measure how much i want the wheel to stick out and buy that size right? is ebay a safe place to buy these or do you guys know of some legit places with good prices? thanks.

Look for hub-centric spacers as they're considered more safe. As far as brands go, I don't have a particular one that I like for spacers but I would avoid anything too cheap as failure of suspension components can be lethal.

Bolt on hubcentric spacers. Wouldnt bother with slip ons as they leave you with too little stud left to bolt your wheels up. Do not buy cheap as above.. last thing you want is them failing and your wheel falling off

Ichiba V2 are one of the most popular of what I have. They come in from as small as 5mm up to 25mm and up.. I just bought and used them on the front for my TT wheels. Keep in mind that if you go with anything less than 25mm for the front, you will have drill out the portion on the backside of the wheel itself, to make room for the regular studs, if this makes sense. I bought the 15MM and had to do this. 25mm will make the TT's flush on the front. Maybe a 10MM in the rear. Wheels brand and size are on you and your look. I chose to keep the stock dimensions, for front 245/40/17 and rears are 275/40/17. I hope this clears up. I bought the Ichiba's off of Ebay for like 115 shipped.

Ichiba V2 in my opinion are great quality and offer hubcentric centers for our cars.

1JZPWRD, I am not sure what you are talking about but I have 20mm front and rear spacers and did not have to drill out anything.

20mm may give the clearance issue that you need. I used 15mm and had to drill the back part of the wheel to achieve the clearance I needed. When you put on the spacers, it will come with the new nuts to secure to your old existing studs. The problem lies that the back side of the TT wheels does have any holes on the back side where the area needs to be. It hits the stock threaded part that sticks out/protrudes out from the spacer. IN other words, the spacer is not thick enough to completely cover the extended oem studs.

i just measured the wheels to the fender and 25mm in the front and about 15-20mm in the back would be perfect. i might go with 25mm in the back and roll the fenders, i'm still thinking about that. if this is just my daily is there any additional stress or things i should worry about when adding these?

what's the difference between v1 and v2 on the ichibas?

I also have hub-centric Ichiba spacers on my 300, but mine are only 10mm all around. They came with extended studs, so i had to replace the studs all around, which was a little time consuming. However, i don't have to worry about the wheel not being secure. I got mine so that the LS400 brakes would clear the LM's. As for the TT wheels, which I also ran on my 300 last year, I definitely recommend 25mm front and 15 rear for flush fitment (if your run 275's in back). I got mine at Touge Factory, and their advice and customer service is wonderful.

Ahh that makes sense as most stock wheels do not have those clearance spaces on the mounting surfaces.

man ichibas are double the price of ebay ones lol. i dont get what could be so different htough? they're just lumps of aluminum with some lugs sticking out.

Is there anyone who is using spacers for their OEM Lexus wheels? I just put OEMs back on my car. My 18's were to rough for me but had a 35mm offset and they looked really good. The OEMs are pretty sunk in by comparison but damn the car rides and drives so much better.
