Default If you had a 2000 SC400...

Would you upgrade and modify it or leave it completely stock as there are not too many left. I'm torn because I have a great example of a completely stock 2kSC but wouldn't mind changing a few things. All feed back is appreciated.

it depends, which look do you prefer, stock or loaded? you can always keep the parts and put them back when you want to sell it.

I wouldn't lower a 2000 SC, I would feel bad, I love that car in its stock form. my 93 with a rebuilt title is another story

True. But storing parts can be a problem. At least keeping them nice once removed anyway.

I still have my 94 but it is no where as nice. I changed the front clip to a 97, audio and had 20 inch rims that I changed back to the chrome stocks. I agree with the stance. It looks pretty nice as is.

The GS or RX woodgrain steering wheel is a must for ANY SC imho. A Supra or LS front brake (at least) upgrade is a very close second. After that, I would leave well enough alone.

Wow I think I placed an offer on that one. He paid 20K from a Bay Area Lexus dealership and had it shipped out. 20K I believe was the asking price. If its the same car it had black interior but not the chrome stocks correct? Can you tell I've been looking for quite some time? lol

I've been keeping my 99 stock, but the wheels are starting to bother me since it's not flush, i might run spacers with stocks, and im getting a woodgrain wheel when i find one!

yea I dont see anything wrong with some tasteful upgrades, RX woodgrain wheel, coilovers, wheels and tint

They are all 100% reversible if for some reason u change your mind, so no harm done

oem tt shocks and springs/rear sway bar, newer lexus wheels w/small spacer, roll fenders for clearance no pull.

leave the brakes alone just make sure its tip top. throw a chrome lexus badge on the oem steering wheel or leave it alone. nice tints, hid's, wax and leather condition on the regular!!!
