Received a reply back from SEM. This is what he stated:



Good day, Mark. Thanks for using our flexible coating for your interior refinishing project.

We don’t recommend using a conditioner on our coatings. They are formulated to maintain flexibility over time without conditioning. A conditioner wouldn’t penetrate the coating and would be removed by contact. Our coatings contain UV blockers which insure great protection against UV damage.

You can expect wear to occur, as in the original coating, in areas of frequent contact. Also, creases will remain just as they would in the original leather. For touchups, prep as before with 39362 SEM SOAP and 3835( ) PLASTIC & LEATHER PREP and apply the coating, generally two or three coats.

All of our conclusions were right. You cant use ANY leather conditioner on their surfaces. Case Closed.
