There are a lof of factory wheels that fit this platform, IS, GS, newer SCs, and many non-Lexus OEM wheels like Infiniti G35/37 wheels are popular and less expensive than some aftermarket. And seeing that you're in NY, size and tire profile are important, so a nice 18" with bigger tires might be better for the roads and weather. Get what you want, because at the end of the day, all that matters is that the car puts a smile on your face.
Thanks Bsanders, what size tire would be good for NYC streets and weather?
(Ill use the 430 rims with Blizzaks if it gets bad)

For my winter set I bought some OEM SC400 rims and painted them gunmetal.

Those summer rims are beautiful on the car!

Can't go wrong with some Work wheels or maybe nice track wheels. There are tons of nice VIP wheels, but the deep dish faced ones like Euroline DH's don't go very well with the SC IMO.
Thank you!
Yours look amazing!

Cool Selling The Ugly chrome rims that came with my car. What can i charge in NYC?

Greetings,
I am selling the ugly chrome wheels that my car came with my car. I don't know wheels well and I dont wan't to get beat on the deal.
All jokes about ugliness aside, what are the worth used?

They are Wicked 17 inch rims and appear to be perfect (if a lil dirty in the pikz). The have Kuhmo 205/40 17's 80H 711 tires that are in great condition. I will take tread pictures as well.

What could I charge? (so I can get some NICE ones)

Default How will going from 17's to 19"G35 Forged Rays affect my ride, handling, performance?

Hi,
i am considering 19" G35 Forged rays for my 95 SC400. How will going from a 17 to a 19 work out on NYC's horrible streets? Will Bumpy roads be OK with them?

Look up chrome wheels on craigslist in your area.
Should give you a rough estimate of what people are asking for them over there.
Personally i think SOMEONE would pay $300 for them.
