I'm running a 225/40/18 on the 10.5 and a 255/35/18 on the 12
Nice. I have same wheel sizes and I didn't get my 225/35 and 255/35 NS-2s on my wheels. Instead i had to put 225/40 and 265/35 Achilles on them. Even two airguns wasn't enough. Maybe it's the barrel shape that various on different wheels, because that's not very crazy stretch ether. My friend's GS has 20x12.5 and he put at the same tireshop as me Achilles 275/30 tires on those wheels and it was piece of cake. Tires just hopped on wheels by pumping air through valves...
^^^^^^ Yea i do believe that the "bead size" differs in wheels and can make seating the tire easier or harder. On my 20x11 the 255/35 went on with absolutely no trouble at all. But a friend of mine has some 18x11 with a 255/35 and had to fight it a little bit. I believe that the brand of tire can play in this as well as the stiffer the sidewall the harder it is to get it to stretch.
