Love at first sight
Hi guys im new to the forum, as I just bought an sc400 today. I have been looking for a new daily driver for a while, but i was looking for something sporty. I decided to go with the sc and boy am I glad I did! After driving this car for one day, I think I will own a lexus for the rest of my life. The car only has 145k miles which from my understanding is still low mileage for one of these motors. The interior is a little worn a couple rips in the seat, and the body needs work. But it's all work that i can do in my garage. I plan to mod the car, so i joined the forum to hopefully pick up some cool ideas from some builds.

Congrats Tyler, and welcome to CL. All the items you mention aren't "show stoppers". The beauty of it all is you're amongst the most knowledgeable builders around! There's so many D.I.Y. here too, so the potential to build your SC is unlimited! Best of luck, and keep us posted! thx for sharing!

Heres some pictures, i replaced the stock amp and subwoofer with a punch, and an alpine amp. I had to make a spacer plate from the ring that sealed the sub to the speaker cover, the sub hit the gastank. sounds great. I plan on making a custom deck from fiberglass and mounting the amp in it. I definetly think that the sub would sound better with a box made rather than using the whole trunk. since the pictures i have also buffed the car and armorall'd the interior.
