Astounding climate unit
The old climate unit has been fantastic for 9 years now, but with the new 32s in my car the climate needed to be built on the 32s technology to keep up with it. Soooo after having a month of R&D with my favorite 3 engineers at Phillips Design Labs (PDL) in the led development office that helped develop the 32s, we came up with a Climate-S that could keep up with the 32s cluster I put in my car 2 months back.
Take a look at this. Aside of the two pics where there is obviously a light on, everything you see that is light is the climate. There isn't another light on in the room. All the blue radiating on the walls are the backlight for the buttons.
I like it. I'm happy it's finally done. I doubt anything will ever touch this one. It's of course fully adjustable, but on full bright it's just stupid intense. This is the one.

Many thanks. The first pic was saturated to heck by the blue, but the second pic if you look the buttons writing is very clear and not blown out yet the screen is immensely intensely lit. That's how you can tell the contrast isn't blown out in the pic and it is THAT bright. The buttons writing are not glowing like they'd be if the contrast were blown out. It's really nice and I am very pleased with it.
As a little experiment I took the climate and hooked it to a 12v drill battery and walked down the road at 11pm and it worked as good as my LED flashlight I keep in my glovebox.

I'm trying to get a picture of the latest build, but it just blows the cameras out it's so bright. I figured out how to perfect these ten years ago, but I only figured out how to do it with zero loss from the led to the front just recently. It means basically a design more perfect than OEM when it comes to light transfer and as always perfect intensity with no hint of spotting, but now you get roughly 40% more light at the buttons (perfected the screen many years ago).

Well not on a current model of the climate S since it is pending licensing through lextech, but I there are plenty of DIY's on climate lighting around here, they just aren't as pretty as a pro job .

Challenge not needed because you have to cap it off at some point or you can't drive the car. I've had to use diffusers to cut some of the light radiation down....... couldn't see where I was driving. The balance has been found, and noted.
