mi was just curious because i wanna replace my tan one with a different one.

oh, my bad. im sure it just slides off more or less. there are some nice looking ones that you can pick up off of ebay that ive seen. I want to get a shift boot/ebrake boot kit, my old ones are pretty shot.

The threaded ones provide a more secure transition between lockable and free.

We will obviously be removing the stock button..."Simply grip it tightly and unscrew. If your unable to get a good enough grip with your fingers a small pair of vise grips will work if you dont ever plan on reusing the button. WARNING: DO NOT CLAP THE VISE GRIPS TOO TIGHTLY OR ELSE THE BUTTON WILL SHATTER AND THEN YOU HAVE BIGGER PROBLEMS."
