Default Need your help:)

hey guys i sold my sc300 about a year and a half ago in order to get better gas mileage (im in highschool and it was killing me) i bought the sc300 for 1400 dollars, put some is300 wheels on it and drove it for a year, then i sold it for 2600$ and bought an acura integra( not a fan, but 31 mpg)

now onto my question, theres an sc400 on CL and hes interested in my integra,
its black with chrome 20in wheels(not a fan) but whatever, the car has 170k miles on it, with the blue-ish leather, the car has a 7in flat screen, amp,sub hook up and lots of other goodies.

were meeting up today to discuss trading and other things, keep in mind my integra has 195k on it but is completely stock and clean.

im used to sc300's so what are some things to look into on the sc400?
what should i keep my eye out for that is broken/going wrong that hes not gonna tell me about.

thanks, brendan

lol... from my experience i would check the suspension... according to many members on here, my car and many others shake at speeds past 60. trust me to find the culprit of this takes time and money.

as for anything else i would tell u to check for the usual stuff ur suppose to check when buying a used car. these cars are not cheap to repair.

defiantly do all the diagnosis tests you can do before you buy it. these cars are so expensive to fix its stupid, some parts get so expensive i expect them to be made with diamonds, and paying for these parts are the furthest thing from fun, if you do chose to buy it good luck

a few things, any suspension clunk or play. coolant light(sensor loves to leak $100). check to make sur ethose 20's didnt rub the wiring harness under the driver fender. all windows roll up and down with ease. obviously no CEL's. cluster lights. door handles love to break($50+). no squeeky pulleys, ask last timing belt service. that should set you pretty well. AC and heat work. lcd climate control loves to go out

Popping hinges. Blackened lcd on climate. Half lit needles. Popping in suspension. Seat tracks work. Cracked center vent. Leaking headlights or condensation. Show proof of maintenance. Let us know.

hey guys thanks for the feedback, i just got home, sat in 2 1/2 hours of seattle traffic. but heres a couple of things, car has no lights on, engine was clean and there was no shaking or anything past 60mph. so the usuals are out, cluster needles, and thermostats cloudy, but the lower front lip is badly cracked but you cant see the crack unless you get down to its level, also he has dents on each side of rear quarter panels(from taking off chrome pieces?)

but overall car was great enginewise, but when it came to looks there were multiple scratches, and the dents.

hes all for the trade, but im a bit skeptical now.

I live in washington too and I think I saw his ad on craigslist. There have been some decent deals lately with a couple lower mileage (100,xxx) sc's for less than 4g's. I'd honestly either save up and get a cleaner one or just keep the gas mileage integra.
