Keep, Trade, Sell, or Part-out
1994 Lexus SC300 2JZ NA-T. It has a brand new Garrett 60-1 turbo, brand new Stage 4 Competition Clutch, brand new motor rebuild with Wiseco 86.5 mm pistons with the compression ration at 8.5.1. However when the head was put back on the cam caps were not tightened enough so may need a new head. Also it will need the vaccumm lines ran and to be tuned. The interior needs work. The car also has a Innovate Wideband, XS Power Intercooler, Aeromotive FPR, HIDs, a pair of 17s Konig rims, Blitz Nur Spec Exhaust, XS Power turbo timer and boost controller, Greddy turbo timer, Soarer front big brakes, FFIM, and a set of 20 inch Axis Rims, and a body kit unknown name. Not sure of the size of the injectors. Also the car has a MAP Ecu for tuning. Have all the receipts to show of new parts and motor rebuild. However bought the car thinking it would be a quick fix however I have over 6500 in the car now and it still is not in driving condition. Should I keep the car and continue fixing, take my loss and either sell it, trade it, or part it out. I'm looking to get around 4,000 to 4,500 for the car is that reasonable also?

Parting it is the best bet to recover at least a portion of what you invested into it. Selling as is in my opinion is a bad move because as someone mentioned, unfinished cars (especially non-running) are never attractive to someone and won't bring in the money you are looking to get.

Only if you were closer to Bama. I also say part it out, but you must be willing to sit on some parts long enough to move, unless you just about give it away. JMO.. Good luck with your decision.

I'd say part it out, you could get some good money for some of the parts you've listed.
