when i got the car the previous owner said 520 hp 480 torque on 14 pounds stock twin and im an oem r154, havent dynoed it so i cant reallt tell you if he is accurate but when i push it sure feels like it lol

If so I call serious foul and sorry to take the wind out of your sails.
Stock 1j twins 14 #'s around 290 to 310 hp and you will be smacking the BC if no FCD.

damn im in a pickle between making my mind up on going na-t or just do the 1jay swap. goal is round 350-400 since ii have w58. and im liking these numbers from you 1jay guys.
you can do both.. while you at it.... 2jzge bottom end and 1jz head and electronics... you get the best of both jz world...
not that im wanting to blow up my 1jz. but now that i've established my setup.
they put them there for a reason. just like the old 4A-GE blocks added oil squirters in 1988 blocks up to the 1992.
swapping over short blocks to a 2jzgte will be cake. the compression is lower than a GE as well. and lastly im not running a long oil line from the oil filter housing all around to the turbo. it looks dumb.
