And so it begins
Pictures and updates spread through out the thread
The swap and overhaul has finally started going forward. I finally threw in the towel after never having enough time to work on her myself due to work. My close friend Brian and Fabricated Performance is taking the build over with my direction and vision in mind. If anyone is interested in his work you can PM me.
I had the Auto Tranny cooler blow out earlier. It spewed tranny fluid everywhere, What a mess.....
As you can see its coating everything. Brian is in the proccess of striping the car and running all the parts threw the Parts washer. He is one Meticulous hard worker. The control arms will be powder coated black and the whole underside of the car will be Undercoated to try and catch this surface rust before it gets any worse.
Living the low life aint easy as my frame rails can attest to that!
a few hours later...Dirty dirty
He is in the process of taking Every peice out from the engine bay to color match it to the body, As well as throwing every part into the parts cleaner.
Before:
After:
Cleaning the engine bay and getting it ready for paint
The Supercharger is in the middle of being polished
Supra tranny tunnel is in.
And we have 3 pedals!!!!
A friend of mine went to a junkyard and came across some LS400 Calipers, Got them for me for 13$ each!!!
In the first step of polishing them to a chrome like shine
I will update this as i receive pictures. From the sounds of it and how fast this One man show is moving with the build, it should be VERY soon. So far i am beyond happy with the level of customer service and dedication Brian at Fabricated Performance is showing. His attention to detail and knowledge is astounding. He is calling me every day with new and creative ideas to give the SC the final touch's it needs. I will keep you all updated with our progress!

Breaking down the Wheels! doing a completely different finish. Stay tuned!
One of my Pittys helping daddy take apart the wheels. As long as she has a tool to call her own she will lay there wagging her tail like "Lifes perfect"

Wheels and Valve covers are done!!!! Big thank you to www.liquidpowdercoats.com!!!
These pics are from my Phone, sorry about the quality

Doing work on the interior. Once you go black you never go back!
Engine bay is painted:
Engine bay is almost finished! We choose to keep the Fire-wall black to ad some contrast in the engine bay. The Motor Block itself is a Flat black, with a polished intake manifold, supercharger and Headers. The valve covers are pictured a few post's back

Nice to see you have the ball rolling again Grant. I can't wait to see the Storm Trooper finished. Now if we can get Milt back and find UZZ an SC to build, I think the SC forum will have some very nice builds. I just need to get cracking on my build. It's gonna be hard to get my K&M rear fenders now. But in due time. Keep this thread updated.

Awesome. Good luck with the build! Nothing makes me happy like seeing a 1uzfe with a blower on top!
I actually just got another SC with the intent to race at N.A.S.A. events and I'm gathering all the information about supercharging that I can find. What supercharger did you choose and where did you get the adapter? Any links or info would be greatly appreciated.
