DIY red out taillights how
Some of you guys with the 97+ red out your taillights the Amber Part. How do you do it (steps) is there any sanding involve. What kind of paint did you use.The brand and color name would help alot....or did you use a film/tint lmk thanks in advance btw i did a search on here and nothing came up or a link would be fine

More work is involved. You will need to take the taillights apart which requires you to bake them in the oven for a bit. Or use a heat gun. Take care in prying them apart as the outer lenses are delicate. Use the spray from the link above (can be found on eBay). Clean the surfaces of the amber, you can wetsand a little with very high grit sandpaper if you want but it's not absolutely necessary

go to decalfx.com and buy a roll of red tape...its the easiest thing to do...me and my buddies have used it a number of times on a celica, tib, and rsx...it looks great and you don't need to change bulbs either.
