What are the differences in the climate control screens? It looked perfectly fine to me. It does look GREAT btw. This whole project has come along incredible. Congratulations and I hope you finish soon!

Here's a re-post for comparison.
Here's another small update.
Before shelling out $600 for a new climate control display assembly I decided to try an eBay display that I found for $60.
The installation was a tad bit tedious, but overall pretty straight forward. I also replaced all the bulbs in the climate control.
Here's a before picture with my blackened LCD and spotted display.
The old display desoldered.
Here's the finished product with a fresh display and bulbs. The result turned out excellent, with only very minimal noticeable differences from the factory display. In my opinion this was $60 very well spent.

Yeah, I also thought about transplanting a display from a newer one, but I would've still wanted to replace all the bulbs behind the display which is easier to do once the display is removed. It's a pretty simple swap, just takes some time to desolder all of those pins.

Thats freaking good work mane. I am so impressed with your whole FACTORY look. I used the same climate control. Been good to me for over a year now, and still bright! Was the center vent 174?

I removed the seat back to gain access to the clips holding on the plastic trim around the net, once I was able to gain access to the net I trimmed the elastic band down and reassembled. It was pretty simple.
Thanks! Glad to hear the screen is good long term. I was a bit skeptical about it, but was pleasantly surprised with it's quality. The center vent was $172.94, I think there were only three left in existence when I ordered mine.
