I park in the most remote area of the college parking lot where there isn't another car within 50ft of me, then I walk 5-10min to my class, even in the rain.
Since this is my second SC, I know where all of the usual wear spots are so I try to be as careful as possible when driving or getting in and out of the car. Examples- driver's seat, steering wheel, shift ****, arm rests, window trim, climate control...the list goes on. I treat my car with care and respect, but I am not afraid to push it over 3k or to redline on a regular basis...IT'S A 2J, IT LIKES TO BE DRIVEN!

I really like my car, but love is too strong a word. I do a drive thru car wash once a month and reward the car by letting it rev as the creator intended just about every journey. Any given excuse to mash the throttle and hear the exhaust is taken of late. The highest form of appreciation I can bestow upon any vehicle is to drive it hard while maintaining it well.

Eh, catch me riding dirty.
It's only been like 3 weeks at most since my car got painted and i've already broken off tabs that mount my front bumper, and cracked the rest, been tapped in my rear bumper, and got my sideskirt scratched by a skateboard.
I had to put my car in 4x4 mode and drive on a dirt road for a bit.
All the carpet and interior is still in peices in my car.
Everytime I park, I drop my car like its hot.
I treat my car like ****.

I used to baby the hell out of my car, but I kinda gave up on it. Every 6 months I put on about 3-4 coats of paint sealant after using a clay bar and light compound, that typically protects it for more than enough time. Once I get the few dings pulled and get the tail lights to stop leaking, I'm sure I'll fire back up a bit on the automobile OCD.

Loving my car and babying my car have nothing to do with eachother... I love it, but I beat the hell out of it. I do try to wash it as often as possible though.

I can't describe to you guys how much I baby my SC. I will flip out if anyone even touches it the wrong way. If they aren't touching it to open or close the door getting in/out of the car, I will flip out lol. People think I'm nuts.
Oh yeah, and all my neighbors think I'm crazy how much I wash my SC. I don't care though they're gay anyway. I take care of my cars unlike the majority of people in this world lol.

To much love for the SC
When I used to DD my 97 Soarer it used to get washed about twice a week, regardless of bad weather or not. Then I had a 91 V8 which I used to have as a DD, then my 97 was washed once a week. Now being a family man the 97 hasn't seen a wash in about 2 months
But it's all for a cause! Can't wait to tear into it and fixing it all up.

I wash it at least once a week.
I regularly hug my steering wheel after I pull it into the garage.
I had separation anxiety when I brought it into the shop to my exhaust installed.
I've spent entire days detailing it.
If anything happens to it, I will most likely cry. Literally.
I cringe when I see someone touching it.
Even after 1.5 years, I STILL look back at it 2 or 3 times as I'm walking into work or into a store.
Christ.. I sound like a fairy. Time to go slam a couple Natty's Ice to get my man card back.
