Default Shifter Shaking

Around 30 and 60 mph my shifter shakes side to side and rattles, its quite annoying lol. Any clues as to why its just starting to do such a thing? Tranny and engine mounts are fairly new (megan racing) only 10k on them. My torque converter is starting to slip more, i need to replace it, but i dont see it causing that oscillation.

Mine does it. All I did was wrap tape around the shifter part where the black bezel is and it doesn't move around it anymore . No more shaking during higher speeds

I had a similar issue with my SC3 but it was just while braking and it turned out to be a brake caliper locking up and caused my shifter to shake and was quite uncomfortable

Shifter vibrating? ..guess that's why they call it the 'dildomatic'

Kudos for this elegantly simple solution. Eventually, my bushing may need replacing, but no point doing all that disassembly/reassembly work when a bit of tape can quiet things down nicely. I even found some beige duct tape, but it wasn't quite a good enough color match for the shifter stalk, so I stuck with black electrical tape. It's barely noticeable as-is.
