Opinion on realistic value of my car
I'm selling the lex soon, as i need to pay off credit card bills. I hope i can get an opinion on a realistic asking price from you guys. This will be a local sale, so try not to give me a lowball wholesale internet value.
1992 Lexus SC400 - 206k
Diamond White Pearl with grey leather
-Heated seats
-Traction control system
-Rear spoiler
-9 speaker Nakamichi premium sound system
-Factory 10” subwoofer
-Factory 12-disc CD changer in trunk
-High Intensity Discharge (HID) headlamp system
-Cornering lights rewired to fogs with yellow bulbs
-Lexus Trunk-mat
-Front and rear proximity sensors with interior warning lights
-New window tinting (lifetime warranty)
Major recent tune-ups and maintenance:
-New radiator and cooling system flush
-New alternator (power steering leak fried the original one)
-New power steering pump (because it was leaking)
-New A/C compressor and clutch
-A/C flush and R134a Freon conversion
-New drier/accumulator
-New tires
-New power steering rack
-New inner and outer tie rod ends
-4 wheel alignment
-New battery
-New serpentine belt
-New Tensioner bearing
-New Idler bearing
-New OEM platinum spark plugs
-New trunk lift supports
-Replaced Driver window regulator and motor
-New lifetime warranty window tinting
-New front rotors and brake pads
-Transmission filter and gasket replaced
-New air filter
-Thermostat replaced
problems:
-1 blinky needle
-leather is worn, but new synthetic leather upholstery kit included
-steering wheel is worn a little
-belt squeals occasionally (can't figure out why)
-needs tranny solenoids replaced (changing them when i receive them from aliga this week)
-climate display blackened halfway
-TCS light on
good news:
body is near mint besides the front lip being cracked in 1 spot and a couple rock chips in the front bumper.
Everything works minus the TCS.
i have all the maintenance records from day 1 @ 0 miles, dealer maintained until 175k, then from 175k until 206k i have invoices for alternator, power steering pump, A/C work, etc from other auto repair facilities.
What do you guys think its worth? I am hoping the maintenance records will help boost the value.
UPDATE: Heres some photos I just took.

Well you all arent saying the same thing....if $3500 is your bottom then you obviously have to be above that number to negotiate down. That wouldnt be your asking price unless you state it as "FIRM".
I would start at $4k (or $3995) and negotiate from there though not sure anything is moving all too well in todays market especially a 16y/o car with 206k even with all that work done. Good luck.

I would start at $4000 too. Get your moneys worth out of it. It looks real good, would go for alot more if it weren't for the high miles, but from what it looks like you can hardly tell.

I actually got them from someone on here. They got them and didn't want them, and i haven't had time or money to get them installed. I'm not sure exactly what synthetic leather is, but meh. Color is dead on so its better than 16yr old dry cracked leather.

Oh, about putting a sign in it in my area, it hasn't been too promising lately. The demographic here is horrible. Everyone and their 'chivvies' and 'MOPARS' and 'FORDS.' It'll be on craigslist where people will call me if they're actually serious.
