I am completely baffled. While I too loathe the orange strip why would you paint it silver? Click the image to open in full size.

Further, it appears as if that is a solid enamel eliminating the majority of light output arguably posing a hazard... Click the image to open in full size.

No. We are concerned that light will not pass through paint and clearcoat. This poses notable concern in regard to legality and safety nevermind the peculiar choice of color.

i was wondering, why did u have to put newspaper in the back, im going to being using some testor spray next week, and spray my tail light candy red, should i be taping up the lights like u and putting newspaper in the back?
