****Official Wheel & Tire Fitment Guide for SC300/SC400****

As always, Thanks BigWes. I've looked both of those up and they seem perfect (price/use) for me. Not looking to autocross or anything in this. Considering price, I may actually be able to get this in sooner than expected. I'm really focussed on exhaust right now but now may add this to the immediate project plan.

It gives the car a luxury muscle car sound. i have deleted resonators so its a little louder. but other than that i like how it sounds, it gives it a real clean sound.

Its just a black on black setup nothing special. it still a stock pre-97 body. im planning on getting my lip kit around mid summer cuz everyone here in north texas has the 97 body setup, so im trying to be a bit different

Tire size/fitting using 18 inch rims on SC400
Hi,
I've put on 18 inch rims on my last SC400 with the corresponding 245/40-18 tires. The ride was a bit harsh and I bent at least 2 rims from potholes.
Question: Is there adequate room in the wheel wells (without any modifications) for 245/50-18 tires instead? I realize the odometer/speedometer will be off, but my only concern is whether there will be adequate clearance for the 50s instead of the 40s on 18 inch rims. Thanks!

- Volk GT-C
- 18x9 +42 with 235/35
- 18x10 +37 with 265/30
- lowered on Megan EZ
- "Lance Spec" MKIV alignment
No fender mods. Car rear rubs a touch when I go over big bumps, so I think I'm going to have to raise the rears .5" as I dont want to do any fender mods.

you are riding on 35 and 30 profile tires for the 18's? From the pics they don't seem that low. I run 235/40 and 255/40 tires on the 18's i have on my SC400. And doing the calculations for the same rolling diameter as stock, the closest match would be 235/40 and 265/35, which is what i thought you had...

I have not had to do any fender mods but the offsets are a bit different and kept the lowering reasonable (and legal for California which has minimum height specs for fogs and headlights). I was able to go with 9.5 rears but fit 275s.
