Default Sc400 Tail Light Full Of Water

I am new to the forum and Lexus as well. I haven't owned the car long and I got stopped the other night with a tail light out. I was let go with a warning which was good, but when I got home and looked at the tail light I noticed all kinds of condensation inside the lens. Well I started to change the lamp but I discovered when I removed the trunk liner in the area of the lamp I didn't see a socket just a couple of wire connectors....How do you change a lamp? And does anyone have any idea where the water could be coming from? Do you have to remove the whole tail light assembly? If so, How? Thanks in advance.

open trunk, remove carpet, 10mm. remove light. seal on light is probably no good. you can drill small holes in the lowest part of the light (2 or 3). drain. from here you can re-seal or leave it and re-install. good luck.
