SC300/SC400 interior
i have a question for you guys. i'm a new member and i'm wondering if the interior in the 1998 SC300/SC400 is the same as the one in the 1992 to 1997 SC300/400. I'm mainly asking about the door panels, front seats, rear seats and center console. please give me an answer ASAP. i just bought a 1998 Lexus stripped out and i need to find the parts for it. thanks.

The center console is completely different in the '98+ SC's. As for the rest of the car, there are some important but subtle difference to be aware of. For example, In 1998 Lexus changed the leather dying process to one using aniline dyes, which produce a much softer supple leather. Lexus also quietly upgraded the softness/comfortableness of the front seats. I used to own a 95 SC and when I upgraded to my 98 SC I noticed these things right away. I'm sure there are are other differences that I just haven't found yet too, all that relentess pursuit of perfection stuff.

I have my 92 SC300 Stripped out already, and its sitting in my garage, take pics of your cars interior, with it being stripped, for example specific lecations such as bolts etc. and i could help you to see if they match up. Plus I have all the parts available for the interior since i still didnt put them up for sale yet.
