Default Bad ignition switch quick help needed.

So today i have somebody coming to look at the SC because im selling it and the instrument cluster suddenly goes out. Specific bulbs(top left and corners) and needles(temp needle) had been flickering in it before but they were isolated to areas of the cluster so i never paid it much attention but now the whole cluster is dead. Here is my question the car still starts and drives. But what i have noticed is when the key is in the ON position the chime when the door is open keeps going off like its in the ACC position.

Check ur fuses in regards to lights out/fading. If those r ok, check the bulbs, if all well there l, check for shorts, grounds, and / or causes of voltage drops, draws, or surges. I'm no pro, just some things that came to mind.

Default good

You never know one's intentions, they may end up doing a swap and changing everything out.
