Anybody installed low beam LED bulbs in their car?
So I've been thinking of upgrading to an HID kit, at least for the low beams.
But I've been thinking, that seems a bit old hat now days, I think Lincoln had HID's on the 1995 Mark VIII.
Everything in lighting, both automotive, household, and especially stage lighting is moving to LED's.
Anybody put a set of these in the stock projectors of your SC?? Results?? What lights/kit did you use?
A quick search turned up this company.

Yes. I'm running New Brights' NB-80W-H11 kit. They worked perfectly for about 8 months, then one bulb started flickering. Contacted them and they promptly shipped me a new replacement bulb. Same thing happened with the other side about a month later, and once again, they sent me a quick replacement.
They work just fine with the stock chrome housings as they're have similar diffusion and brightness to the halogens.
In retrospect I would go with 's kit. Their warranty is more public and the reviews speak for themselves.
Most of these OEMs are using the same LED manufacturer, CREE. I believe Super Bright LEDs also uses CREE as their LED source for a lot of kits.
Overall I would recommend it. They're a lot less fiddly (special aiming, housings, etc- none) and cheaper to put in than an HID retrofit. It's still a new technology for cars but in general LEDs have a much longer life than gas-based igniting bulbs.
